SPECIAL COMPETITION TRAINING
Date: Saturday 12th April
Location: New Lynn Dojo, Synergy Sports Centre, 44 Portage Road, New Lynn
Time: 9.00 AM – 4.00 PM (with 1 hour for lunch from noon)
Cost: $15
The training sessions are aimed at those who have not entered a tournament before or have only entered one or two. We will be introducing everyone to how tournaments are run, the basic rules as well as some actual tournament training and a mini tournament.

TOURNAMENT NEWS
CONGRATULATIONS to all our competitors at the Auckland Karate League Championship Round 1!
This event was organised by Karate Auckland, which was held on Sunday 9th March 2025 at the Auckland Netball Centre Stadium.

DAN GRADE CERTIFICATE PRESENTATION
On 28th February after the Friday Black Belt Training at New Lynn Dojo, students who took their Shodan Ho and Shodan Grading last December 2024 were awarded their certificates.

JYOSHINMON DEMONSTRATION
Our club had the opportunity to perform a demonstration of Jyoshinmon Karate Basics, Kata and Kumite at the 2025 Whau Chinese New Year Festival.
This event was held on 23rd February at Olympic Park in New Lynn.
